Atlantic City, NJ (February 21, 2011) –  On March 10th heads will bang at The House of Blues Casino at Showboat Atlantic City as the their Party Pit plays host to the electric and controversial band, Filter.  Known for their hard style and deep lyrical content, Filter will perform their greatest hits beginning at 10pm.

“This will be the biggest show the House of Blues Party Pit has ever experienced,” said Jason Spencer, Regional Director of Entertainment for Caesars Entertainment Atlantic City.  “Nowhere else on the East Coast are you able to find talent of this caliber performing for free; we are excited for our guests to experience Filter live on March 10th.”

The 1990’s punk rock band famous for their classic hits “Hey Man, Nice Shot”, Jurassitol”, “Take a Picture”, “Thanks Bro”, and “The Best Things” are as excited to make their debut performance at Showboat Atlantic City as their diehard fans, each member sounded off about the upcoming performance.  “We are absolutely ready to come FILTERIZE the Party Pit!! Bring you’re A game!” said frontman Richard Patrick, guitarist Jonny Radtke noted “Never played HOB there… looking forward to it…”, “Get to rock Atlantic City…it’s been a while” exclaimed bassist Phil Buckman and drummer Mika Fineo said, “I have lots of friends and family there, it should be  a great show.”

The performance is free and open to the public and Showboat Atlantic City urges fans looking to view the concert from the comfort of House of Blues Casino’s couches to come early, as reservations are not accepted.

The House of Blues Casino Party Pit is most famously known as Showboat Atlantic City’s high-energy gaming and entertainment venue, consistently hosting some of the hottest cover bands and DJ’s in the region, as well as the 2012 Bombshell Calendar Girls.  Since 2011 The House of Blues Casino Party Pit has been challenging other venues and electrifying audiences by providing music-lovers with free concerts preformed by chart topping artists. Bands like the Gin Blossoms, Fuel, Go Go Gadget, Ed Kowalczyk of LIVE, Lit, as well as the notorious Tommy Lee have all graced the stage and delivered no-charge performances making it the region’s premier free/live venue.
