If y0u’re in Atlantic City the week of October 23, you might want to head to the Borgata for a new way to ease stress.

To start, both the Spa Toccare and the Immersion Spa in the Water Club are offering reduced-price treatments Sunday through Friday. Prices start at $85, and include use of the spa. I’ve been to Spa Toccare and find the massages to be first-rate. The spa is pretty nice too, with a modern workout room, hot tubs, sauna and steam room. But men and women have separate facilities, so it’s not the place to go for a romantic retreat.

If you can’t spring for a massage, there will be demonstrations in the main hotel lobby all week. They’ll give samples of a different treatment each day. There will be more demonstrations in the pool areas of both the main tower and the Water Club, and a special healthy menu.
