Atlantic City, NJ (January 4, 2012) –  The House of Blues Casino at Showboat Atlantic City wants to show its guests ‘What It’s Like’, so they’ve enlisted the help of Grammy Award-winning rapper and songwriter Everlast.  Also known as Whitey Ford, the singer’s performance is free and open to the all guests 21 years and older.

Everlast is set to take the stage at 10p.m. on Friday, January 20, performing his career catalogue which will take audiences on a trip through all genres, literally from Rap to Blues to Rock to Country Rap and back around.  Everlast will perform songs like ‘Jump Around’ from his House of Pain days; ‘What It’s Like’ and ‘Ends’ from his Whitey Ford Days; ‘Put Your Lights On’ from his collaboration with Carlos Santana; ‘This Is War’ and ‘Skull And Guns’ from his La Coka Nostra days.  Since there isn’t a cover-charge, fans looking to view the concert from the comfort of House of Blues Casino’s plush couches are urged to come early, as reservations will not be accepted.

The House of Blues Casino Party Pit is most famously known as Showboat Atlantic City’s high-energy gaming and entertainment venue, consistently hosting some of the hottest cover bands and DJ’s in the region, as well as the 2012 Bombshell Calendar Girls.  Since 2011 The House of Blues Casino Party Pit has been challenging other venues and electrifying audiences by providing music-lovers with free concerts preformed by chart topping artists. Bands like the Gin Blossoms, Fuel, Go Go Gadget, Ed Kowalczyk of LIVE, as well as the notorious Tommy Lee have all graced the stage and delivered no-charge performances making it the region’s premier free/live venue.
