“Community Life Fair” to be hosted at Bally’s On October 4
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (SEPTEMBER 20, 2011) – Caesars Entertainment Atlantic City will host the third annual Community Life Fair on Tuesday October 4th in the Grand Ballroom at Bally’s from 11a.m. to 6p.m.
The fair is free of charge and open to the public, local and surrounding community members and employees of all casinos. It will have more than 100 community agencies and organizations available to provide assistance and information to the community on the services they offer. Caesars Entertainment, which includes Bally’s, Caesars, Harrah’s Resort and Showboat, is partnering with community stakeholders to provide a venue where participants can receive much needed assistance and information on all types of valuable services in one location. Also present will be representatives of various educational and vocational facilities to provide information on the many types of learning positions available.
In addition, there will also be a Health Pavilion which will offer many different types of free health screenings. There will be exhibitors present who can help individuals to access follow-up services if necessary. There will also be seminars throughout the entire day covering crucial topics such as “How to Improve Your Credit Score”; “Alzheimer’s: Know the 10 Signs;” “Using Credit Wisely” and “Five Minute Beauty Makeover.”
The Community Life Fair will also have chefs on hand who will prepare free samples of healthy, low cost dishes to sample – including the distribution of recipes. To work off the samples, the fitness community will be present with demonstrations and information on the programs they offer.
“The Community Life Fair is a one-stop destination that provides members of the local community with a unique opportunity to learn what resources are available to them,” said Pat Johnson, Manager of Diversity and Community Relations of Caesars Entertainment Atlantic City. “Caesars Entertainment Atlantic City is extremely excited about the opportunity to give back to the community for the third consecutive year.”
Community members with questions can contact the Caesars Entertainment Community & Diversity Relations Department directly at 609.340.2874 or visit www.Communitylifefair.com for more information on all of the seminar topics.
