ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (October 26, 2011) – Eating well doesn’t have to cost a fortune. Il Verdi, the upscale northern Italian dining experience at Tropicana Casino & Resort, now offers a three course tasting menu for just $35 per person plus tax and gratuity.

The Tasting Menu at Il Verdi offers guests a choice of Insalta Caprese (crisp spinach leaves with gorgonzola cheese, chopped egg and crispy pancetta) or Insalata di Spinaci al Gorgonzola (house-made mozzarella with plum tomatoes and fresh basil) for the first or Primi course.

Dinner guests will then choose one of eight options for the entrée or Secondi course. With selections that include Penne Bolognese, Twin 4 oz. Filet Mignons, Potato Gnocchi, Pan Seared Twin Organic Pork Chops, Grilled Salmon topped with Jumbo LumpCrabmeat, Flounder Milanese, and two Italian-style chicken dishes, there is truly something to please every palate. Dessert options offer up a difficult choice of Tiramisu or Amaretto Cheesecake.

A gourmet staple at the Tropicana since Tropicana opened 30 years ago; Il Verdi is located on the Casino Level of the North Tower.
