The Tropicana is the latest Atlantic City casino to try and lure premium players away from other properties. But if you have a Diamond card at Harrah’s, Black Label at Borgata or Chairman at Trump, this is worth checking out.

   Show your premium player card from any other Atlantic City casino at the Trop, and they’ll give you upgraded status for 60 days (you keep it if you earn a certain number of points), $100 in slot play, and a free room. (Just stay away from the North Tower when you cash in on that offer.) The premium card gives you free parking and access to Diamond Jim’s lounge on weekdays.

   Some people are saying it’s for new players only. But other existing players said they’ve been able to take advantage of it. I haven’t checked it out personally yet, so I can’t say, but it’s worth a try if you want to give the Trop a play and a stay.
