For many visitors, a trip to Atlantic City is not complete without a hike to White House Subs. Don’t worry, the locals love the place too. The city’s icon establishment has been on the corner of Mississippi and Arctic Avenues since 1946, and has been run by the same family for the entire time. There is almost always a line of people waiting for a table, even in the winter. If you want your sub to go, count on a long wait. Many celebrities have visited the shop, and they left their pictures and autographs on the wall.

Now, for the first time in 64 years, White House Subs will have a second location. They’ve signed an agreement to open a branch in the Taj Mahal, in the Spice Row outlets near the parking garage. It’s slated to open in early 2011.

No word yet if the new outlet will allow you to pay out of your Trump One player account, or if it will cost you two comp dollars for every dollar’s worth of sub. But a lot of people will be grateful for the chance to buy the tasty subs in a casino, and not have to trek several blocks to satisfy their craving. Especially if they develop that craving at night, when it’s not the smartest idea to be creeping around the city’s streets.
