AN ONLINE PROMOTION FOR ATLANTIC CITY
People who log on to the Harrah’s Web site often find sweepstakes with a weekend in Vegas as the prize. You play some game, and you always lose, and that’s that.
But now, it’s gotten better. Log on to www.harrahs.com, and you can click on the “Walk Away a Winner” promotion. You have to enter your e-mail, birthdate, Total Rewards card number and pick your favorite Harrah’s property. You play the game and you still get, “sorry, not a winner’ on the screen.
But here’s the good part. Click on the link to a reward for playing, and a coupon for your favorite property comes up. Some of them are pretty good. I picked Caesars Atlantic City as my property, and so far have gotten a $10 Total Rewards gift card and free use of the Qua Spa Monday through Thursday. I’m going to try and get the gift card this afternoon, so I’ll let you know if there’s a problem. But this seems like one on-line game that’s worth playing. You can do it once a day.

yes we agree but we have been doing this for about a week and i put in Paris and get the same prize (10% of room rates). my wife does it and gets the same 3 prize from Caesars. i wonder if you can use all of the same prizes or once you win you only get to use one prize of a type.

I had trouble redeeming the $10 Total Rewards gift card I supposedly won. I took the printout to the desk at Caesars, and they said I had to print out the e-mail I got from it. Problem is, I never got an e-mail to back it up.
I took the free use of the facilities coupon to Qua, showed it to them, and they said they would honor it. So I plan to use that one night when I really need to unwind.
I agree, 10 percent off a room rate makes little sense, especially if you get comped.

My wife and I have each played the game three times.
Each time, we never win and the only prize we get for playing has been 10% off the room rates.
I’m glad you got some decent little prizes, but it seems like a bad contest for us because they keep giving us the same thing and we can’t use it.
Our rooms aren’t comped, but as a Total Rewards member we can still get a better discount than 10% just by entering our membership numbers.
