Construction at Revel is full-swing, and they’re scheduling to open before next Memorial Day. I can say, it looks like it will be one class property, surpassing the Borgata.

    But if you can’t wait until then, stop in at the new visitors lounge at the site. The Atlantic City Press reported today that they just opened a few rooms on the boardwalk at New Jersey Avenue. You’ll probably have to park at the Showboat and walk, as construction has taken up a lot of parking spaces in the area.

   They say you can sign up to be on Revel’s e-mail list, buy a logo t-shirt or some drinks. There’s even a pool table and a couple of nice places to sit. The walls are full of slogans about how great Revel will be.

   For me, signing up for the mailing list is the most appealing. It’s the best way to get some offers before they open.
