A couple things to mention as the holiday weekend gets underway.

   Caesars’ Conquer the Empire promotion starts on Sunday. Earn 100 Total Reward credits on any day but Saturday through March 25, and you qualify for a game piece. Go to the kiosk, print out your voucher and bring that to the Total Rewards Center. They’re promising prizes like free slot play, credit at the Qua spa, gift cards and for the lucky few, trips. No idea about how many of these cards are winners. But play on Tuesdays in February, and you get two game pieces for every  100 base points you earn.

   Trump Marina’s Bayside restaurant reopens today after it was closed for renovation. It’s part buffet, part restaurant. So you can take a look at the buffet and see if you like the pickings, or order off the menu. The buffet is open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the restaurant is open 24 hours. Buffet prices range from $13 for breakfast to $21 for the weekend prime rib and crab pig out.
